В статье представлены преимущества скрининга рака шейки матки на основе выявления онкогенных штаммов вируса папилломы человека перед традиционным цитологическим скринингом методом РАР-теста. Метод самозабора Self sampling с помощью инструмента Qvintip компании Aprovix (Швеция) позволяет увеличить процент женщин, участвующих в национальных программах популяционного скрининга, что приведет к улучшению показателей заболеваемости и смертности женского населения от рака шейки матки.
